I don't know what to say. But i am glad you and your daughter are safe. I could not read much of the story because something inside the head and heart hurts while reading more. If only reading affects me so much, I cant imagine how it must have felt and how much courage you really put in. Give my love to your daughter. Live a healthy and happy life.
Anna, I cannot begin to understand or know what it's like to go through what you did. Now comes the healing and you have set yourself on the right path. Congratulations!
Don't beat yourself because you didn't tell anyone. This is what he did, not you. It would have come out sooner or later. For you and your daughter's sake, stop the guilt and instead focus on how you can heal. That is, as you say what's important.

im very moved by your story, so glad that both of you are ok, just think that if the dog hadn't of wondered where would you be now? i takes gutts and alot of determination to get up and leave such a bad situation and you have both of them, just like me, it aint been easy but i always pull through in the end.
You are a good writer with a moving story. It's important that these stories are told, so as the victims are not somehow blamed.
If I could make a very minor writing suggestion please: I believe there would be some who may find the reading easier if your paragraphs were separated. After getting a reader to your site, it would be a shame if they did not read all your post.
